Creative Collaborations
Duration: 1hr. 20 minutes

Limit: 40 people per session

Creativity skills make everything better, from cooking and poetry to child rearing, ap development and engineering.
Brigid will be leading and assisting at Maker Faire sessions
These fun sessions will start out by stretching and building your creativity skills, then we’ll create something together: a story, a poem, and/or some art.
You’ll laugh and be surprised and delighted by what you create. Final art pieces and video will be posted here.
At the end of each session the grown-ups will have the opportunity to do their favorite dance moves for a “Happy” dance video.

It’s worth a “Pharrell Williams Happy” search on YouTube.com to see what other cities have created, and sometimes what animals are “dancing.”
Everything created in these sessions will be fun and beautiful in all their imperfections. Replications are encouraged to be shared and used by anyone, including the Maker Faire (that’s why the grown-ups only mention about who can participate in the video).
Spark Sessions at Innovation Cafe
What: Lively and playful group events involving participants’ spontaneity, creativity, collaboration, exercising brains in a new way, and… delight. These sessions are meant to lighten you up while building skills in creative problem solving, risk taking, collaborating, and thinking quickly on your feet. Using skill building exercises from a field call Applied (sometimes known as Practical) Improvisation, these Spark Sessions will enliven your mind and spirit.
